Try one of the following methods to unlock the menu on the hotel TV. Most of the tips provided below are brand specific, while some of them are generic and may work with any brand. Tau army guide. General Tips

• Verify the cables are connected properly and check remote batteries.
  Always check the basics first. Make sure remote works, the batteries are good, all cables in the back are connected properly, the device you are trying to connect is powered on, etc.
  
• Unplug the TV from the network.
  Very often hotel TVs are connected to the network and controlled centrally. Unplugging TV from the network may disable the menu restrictions set by the network administrator. Check in the back of the TV for any network or telephone cables hooked up to it. Unplug the cable and power cycle the TV. Check if the menu is unlocked now. You can try the Input Source button on the TV remote or physical button on the TV itself. Don’t forget to reconnect the cable after you are finished.
  
• Download TV manual
  If you can’t find what you need here, chances are that old passwords may have been changed on the newer TV models. Visit the TV manufacturer’s website and download the manual for the specific TV model you are working with. It will have instructions on how to access the hotel mode menu.
  
• Press both Menu buttons for 10 seconds
  Simultaneously press and hold MENU buttons on the remote and on the TV itself. The factory menu should appear. Let go of the MENU buttons and press one of them again once (either on TV or on the remote). Now you should be able to disable hotel mode. Turn off and then turn the TV back on.

  This passcode is known to work on Samsung 6-series hospitality grade TVs.
• Power off the TV and try one of the following codes:
  Mute – 1 – 1 – 9 – Power
  Mute – 1 – 8 – 2 – Power
  Info – Settings – Mute – Power
  Sleep – P.STD – Mute – Power
  P.STD – Menu – Sleep – Power
  P.STD – Help – Sleep – Power
• Press: “Info – Menu – Mute – Power On”
  Start with TV off or in standby mode. Quickly press on the remote: “Info – Menu – Mute – Power On”.
• Use default passwords to unlock password-protected TV
  Sometimes hotel TV’s maybe just password protected. You can try the following default factory passwords first: 0000, 1234, 1111, 7777 or 9999. If it doesn’t work, you can try to guess the password by using other simple or most commonly used combinations. Usually, TVs don’t lockout after a certain number of failed attempts.
• Enter the code: “Mute – 1 – 1 – 9 – Enter” on TV remote

• Use code: “1 – 1 – 0 – 5”
  Press and hold the Settings button on the TV remote for more than 5 seconds and then quickly enter the passcode 1105. If remote doesn’t have a Settings button, use the Home button instead. You then should get access to the Hotel Mode Setup menu where you can turn on the desired features or turn off the Hotel Mode altogether. If this method doesn’t work, try to use one of these passwords instead: 0413, 0000, 7777, 8741, or 8878.
• Use AnyMote Smart Universal Remote app and IR remote control adapter
  Download the AnyMote Smart Universal Remote app and install it on your smartphone. Use the IR remote control adapter compatible with your smartphone. You can find these adapters here (this is Amazon affiliate link). Open the AnyMote app and in the main menu select INSTART option. Next, enter the passcode 0413, 1105 or 0000 to access Installation Menu. Change the desired setting and press BACK or EXIT when finished. • Download LG Remote app.
  If the above method didn’t work, try to download the native remote app for your LG TV and then repeat the same steps. You may also try to press and hold the SETTINGS button in order for Installation Menu to appear.
• Press & Hold “Menu Settings” button on the remote
  Hold it for about 20 seconds. You will see regular Setup Menu pop-up on the screen – just keep holding “Menu Settings”. When regular Setup Menu disappears from the screen – release the “Menu Settings” button and press “2- 6- 6- 3 – Enter” on the remote. Turn off the D-Box option and restart the TV.
